From Our Neighbors...

"I would like to extend my thanks to the managers, and particularly to Brent, of Somerford Place Assisted Living on Riva Road.

As the owner of a veterinary hospital, I often have to be at my office to care for hospitalized patients no matter what the weather. I drive a Subaru Outback, but sill can’t get through unplowed roads after snows of 20-plus inches.

In preparation for the recent back-to-back blizzards, I asked permission to park at Somerford Place, figuring it would be plowed sooner than my driveway and neighborhood road. They graciously allowed me to park in their lot. When I hiked (snowshoed) from my home to Somerford Place, I was pleased to see the lot was plowed and amazed to find my car had been cleared of snow.

I know the staff of Somerford Place lovingly provides for those in their life care, as our son volunteered there in high school, but last week they also helped me to do the same for mine. "
